  We were given a warm welcome on our arrival at Au Nid des Thes. The hotel is situated on a pedestrian street in the small town and has easy access to shops and restaurants. There is no special carpark but parking can be found easily nearby. We were in the "Caramel" room on the second floor. We had a very comfortable night in this spacious room wit... τι λέει ο κόσμος » h large bathroom. They point out on booking that there is no TV but that did not matter to us. Breakfast was delicious and included in the price. The - The location in the centre of Brantome meant easy access to the wonderful canals, abbeye, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was a simple but very well done Continental with homemade preserves. Sandrine was very helpful and the room was large, well equipped and very clean. Excellent all round and we would stay there again.

  I had been to Brantome the year before on a sightseeing trip from the Limousin and had thought it a rather delightful place, so for a treat we decided to come back this way for an extra night stop on our way home and use the Charbonnel as the restaurant is often recommended in guide books. Well the food was excellent and the waiter service the ... τι λέει ο κόσμος » best I have ever had anywhere I would visit again for the food alone. - Great location. Excellent walking opportunities. We were in the annex so enjoyed a lovely large room with our car parked safely under our window. Staff offered help in getting suitcases upstairs. Comfortable bed and pillows.
