I had a very nice 3-night stay. The staff is super-friendly and helpful, letting early-arriving guests park their bags well before the official check-in time (wish i'd known that!). We paid a bit extra for the 7th floor suite, well worth it, the staff were extremely helpful & the rooms serviced every day.breakfast was typical French but filling.
Only 4.5 ks from the Eiffel Tower & the same from the louvre.
Probably one of the cheapest hotels in Paris.

Hotel du Home Moderne is an excellent value, clean and comfortable with modern amenities. We were particularly impressed with the staff. Guillume and Jennifer, who manned the front desk, were outstanding. They always went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. At the buffet breakfast, Lore managed the breakfast room with efficiency and good humor. We also enjoyed the non-touristy neighborhood, which has lots of little shops and cafes and is conveniently located near transportation.

Great hotel in a lively and interesting part of Paris. Cafes, Creperies and other nightlife surround the hotel. It's a fairly short walk from Montparnasse train station and an even shorter walk to the closest Metro.

There is a Metro station on the corner for easy access to all of the city, and there is a bus stop for Charles de Gaulle Airport there as well.
