  We stayed for a week in October, except for the rainy days everything else was close to perfect. Afterwards we stayed for 3 nights at Hyatt Regency and it really wasn't up to L'Hermitage standards, although more expensive.   This is a fantastic Hotel. Huge modern and fully equipped rooms (full modern kitchenette) One of the best Hotels we have ever stayed at and right in the downtown are of Vancouver. The hotel itself is well appointed and felt more 4 star than 3. Queen beds were very comfortable and maid service excellent.

  Lovely friendly reception staff. When deciding on which room to have, I was asked if I wanted to see them and the chap was there within seconds, up to the 5th & 7th floors & back to reception in minutes. Excellently located, 5 mins' walk from city shops. Incredibly efficient!   The location is great for exploring Vancouver. It's a short walk to Gastown, Chinatown, Canada Place and one block from Robson Street, with its many varied cafes and stores. From the airport, you simply take the Skytrain to Vancouver City Centre Station; it's a 10 minute walk to the Sandman along Georgia Street. I was travelling alone for the first time so felt really lonely and a bit scared, when I arrived at the hotel, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful! My room was cleaned daily and the cleaning staff again were very friendly, and were accommodating considering some days I didn't leave my room til 2pm! Would def stay there again! Close to the Main Street and within minutes of the sky train!!!

  The hotel is beautiful and in a great central downtown location. Our room was perfect and clean, beds were very comfortable.The staff was fabulous, very attentive and friendly. The concierge goes out of their way to help with reservations, and any other request you could think of.   My room and the extra services that the staff did. Like at night, theywould put on my pillow the temperature for the night and the next daywith a bottle of water free of charge....
