Right from the start we were treated so well by the Manager. He graciously came and picked us up from town since we had flown into Ganges by seaplane. We were able to walk into and back from town several times. Later he drove us to pick up our adult daughter who was joining us.
He was gracious and helpful and went the extra mile twice!
The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fabulous. We also used the hot tub and enjoyed the location with the view of the ocean and the woods.

It is the perfect place to take a break from a very busy life. The location in a quiet neighbourhood close to the sea is perfect.

This hotel is staffed by people who understand the idea of great
service. Check in and check out was handled by friendly, courteous

The room was big and comfortable, with a lovely view of the scenic lake. Everything was there I needed, including wifi and coffee-maker. The breakfast that was included was beyond the usual sweet bun and coffee... very nice! 1) Doris! What a neat lady: owner, maid, information officer, story-teller and, best of all, gourmet COOK. Served us a delicious schnitzel with mushrooms, potatoes, veges. Plus dessert. With wine of course. On no notice!

The host and hostess were charming and thoughtful. The locale beautiful, and the deck was a lovely relaxing spot. We loved being able to walk the spit from the cottages. -

The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. My room ( a deluxe king) was beautiful and spacious, with views into the forest. After a hard day of surf lessons, I had a wonderful sleep on the very firm bed. -

The room was beautifully decorated, very clean, the bed was very comfortable. It also had direct access to the porch. Fern and Graham are wonderful hosts. This is the place to go if you want to relax and enjoy amazing landscape. -

everything! The welcome was lovely, the owner was there and chatted for a while while we waited for the couple in front of us to check in. Saw some reviews that weren't great, but we found everything to be wonderful. The restaurant has new chefs, and the food was terrific. It is a restful and quiet place at this time of the year - late November, and enough snow for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, etc.

Great and very helpful stuff. Romantic and interesting design - my wife was really impressed by the bath tube in the living room. There is no a TV set in room which is good for us. Finally, there was enough fire wood for the fireplace :)

I enjoyed everything about the West Coast Suites.
Right from the friendly and warm reception that we got when we arrived. The staff was great. Polite, fun and friendly.
The accomodations were clean and comfortable along with warm and modern.

As I was writing an exam on the UBC campus early the following morning I loved the fact I could just walk from the hotel to the venue and not have to deal with parking, etc. I also enjoyed the clean, modern and comfortable suite and the fact it provided a quiet environment conducive to studying. All in all it was excellent value and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for anyone wishing to stay in close proximity to the campus.
