I'm normally sceptical about ratings from other people & this
place has a very high score - but I agree with the majority. The owner,
Michel, has set up the place with a simple and elegant balance between
medieval & contemporary - very nice . . . and very clean!

I found my bed was more comfortable than usual in European hotels.
The breakfast was fresh & tasty with a couple of unique elements.

This B&B is really exceptional. The house is four hundred years old but has been lovingly restored by Michel, the owner, and is now very comfortable indeed with a great bed. The location is amazing - directly opposite the extensive, exquisite and peaceful 13th century Begijnhof (a sort of village within a town), but just a 10 minute walk right into the centre of Leuven which is a lively and happy university town, or a 5 minute walk to the river and walks in the forest. This is a lovely B & B set in the outskirts of Leuven about a 15 minute walk from the city centre. Rooms are clean, tidy and modern with all the facilities fully working. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast - very good choice of foods. Easy to park, free and off road. Tea, coffee and water freely available all day and beer, wine and soft drinks at cheap prices. Highly recommended by us and we will stay there again.

We had a 2-room appartment. A main room with bath/toilet/kitchen
and a little attic with a bed. The bed was a handmade pocket spring from
Belgium, incredibly comfortablel. The main room was spacious and
comfortable. The breakfast was the best I've ever had (it beats a
5-star American hotel) : Homemade jellies, fresh (also exotic) fruits,
pancakes, wonderful cheeses, croissants etc. Everything either freshly
bought or freshly made as you arrive. The (relatively young) owners were
very hospitable

Forget the corporate hotels who hire pretty young things with no people
skills or commitment to hospitality as a profession... Peter is a
terrific host, he really cares about the comfort of his guests. The room
was spacious and quaint, lots of attention to detail. Breakfast was
phenomenal. Don't miss this if you are in Leuven. -

Casa Bollicine is the perfect designer family run accommodation with

Stylish, clean, quiet and perfectly located close to the hottest spot in Leuven. The landlady is lovely and breakfast fresh and delicious. My room was very spacious and with a huge bow-window. Bed was big and very comfortable. Wi-fi is excellent. Complimentary bathroom items were above average and free coffee and water and amaretto biscuit were provided.
