  The 1669 is basically excellent. Rooms were spacious, with a large comfortable beds, and the bathrooms were large and well equipped. Breakfast was superb, all the produce was organic.   The room was amazing, the best hotel room I have stayed at, we ended up spending a lot more time in the room than I normally would when I stay at a hotel, it was that pleasant.   This is a great place to stay -- location, hosts, room and bath, service. I can recommend this BandB without reservation. The photos do not do the rooms justice. The room is spacious and elegantly appointed. The bath is brand new and luxurious. Ann is a gracious and helpful host. The guest house is beautifully situated in, we discovered, probably the nicest part of Bruges. This is one of the very best places we have ever stayed at.
