On arrival at the hotel (3 hours before official check-in) we were
warmly welcomed, our luggage stored and given a map and some advise on
exploring the local area.
We returned around 4pm and were directed to our room, the room was immaculate, and the bed very comfy :-)

If we are to return to Brussels I would not look anywhere els -
Great location! Very close to the centrum and train station. The hotel
is surrounded by several great bars and restaurants. Staff was very
professional and accommodating. We arrived after the kitchen quite late
and the bartender/receptionist were very helpful in providing late
night snacks and drinks -- great staff! Free wifi with reasonable speed.
Breakfast was great, although a bit expensive (20 euro) if not reserved
in advanced.

The location was convenient to Gare du Midi and the center. The hotel itself was in a very cute area, a little quiet at night, but still safe. The service was friendly and helpful, the room was small but sufficient, the bathroom was large and in good working order, and the breakfast was really amazing. I intend to stay at the Grand Sablon whenever I happen to be in Brussels. A huge plus was the weekend special, which made it very affordable. Comfortable, spotless, staff very accommodating. Great charm and also calm and quiet. Excellent night's sleep.

All hotels should be like this. They have the most luxurious bed linen on this plant. Little touches like housekeeping coming in to draw the curtains at dusk make the whole experience memorable. - professional staff, best location

fantastic location. you can not be in a better location in Brussel. Pay the extra to have a room with a view of the square. Magic any time of the day/night. We loved our room, great bed, bathroom etc... and the breakfast buffet in the morning was terrific. The rooftop patio was beautiful and we relaxed up there late at night with a glass of vino and remarked what a great hotel it would be for a swanky event. Highly highly recommend.

I travel quite a bit and this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Very helpful staff, good breakfast, central and easily accessible location. but most of all... the design. The hotel is just beautiful! I have to express great appreciation for th concept and execution of the interior design. A lot of thought has been applied and the materials used are top quality, making it staying at this hotel an experience in itself.

The hotel has an exellent location next to Grand Place, in the middle of the most vibrant part of Brussels. It is located on the nice square. The staff is friendly an helpful, room was clean and warm,and was facing a nice square. The hotel is also close to the metro station. This was definitely good value for money, me and my daughters (18 and 21)

They are all multilingual and very knowledgable about the surrounding area and have suggestions about what to do in the Brussels area. The rooms are very clean and you get a real good value for your euro especially compared to the prices of other hotels in the same area. The hotel itself is in a very good area for sightseeing in the Brussels area.
