The scenery was fantastic, it is an idyllic spot in Hunter, walking
distance to a couple of wineries and we spotted kangaroos on our stroll!

Our Host and Hostess went above and beyond for us, offering to drive us to our friends wedding when we couldn't get a taxi, and baking us fresh banana bread for afternoon tea. Absolutely gorgeous location, excellent personal service, reasonable rates for the area and a very friendly dog that will greet you on arrival! We would definitely return.

Finding Thistle Hill was like finding gold! We had beautifully appointed accommodation Nd the grounds are stunning! The gourmet breakfast is to die for. Baked goods made on the premises! Peter was so,obliging and when we could not get a pizza delivered due to bad weather conditions, he prepared a beautiful cheese platter for us! We highly recommen

We stayed in Thistle Hill for 2 night celebrating my partners birthday. I have visited Hunter Valley previously and have to say this Guesthouse is one of the top stays I have experienced. Beautiful decor with attention to details, Thistle Hill grounds are stunning, breakfast very tasty with great choice of food, and Carol's baked pears just delicious!! We will definitely come back later this year.

This is a great little place about 10-15mins north of Coffs Harbour and inland from the highway (note that the highway is currently under works so diversions in place but it's well signposted). Ben was amazing when I called in the morning and gave clear directions and even said if you struggle to find Santa Fe to call and he'd direct me in. There

The grounds of the accommodation -
We often hear that a location is a hidden oasis. But Santa Fe really is. Unfortunately we could only stay 2 nights. On our next visit it will be a few days. The B&B is delightful. Sharon is the consummate hostess, the breakfasts are wonderful.
The rooms are delightfully decorated and the lounge etc are very relaxing and comfortable.
But it is outside that Santa Fe really comes into its own. In 6 acres Sharon and Ben have transformed the area into a really interesting exploratory sensa

really enjoyed our stay...was quiet and the owners were fantastic..nothing was a hassel..was greeted as we pulled up which we really appreciated and was so friendly. the lodge was lovely and everything that we could want was right there at our finger tips...also the breakfast was lovely...very central to beaches / shopping etc -

LOVED the spa and the relaxed feel. The buildings were gorgeous as were the grounds. The staff were so friendly and easy to talk to. The food in Mittagong was amazing too (the little pizzaria with cocktails is a must for dinner and the fire house (or words to that affect) cafe makes Melbourne-grade coffee!). -

We had a comfortable, clean and attractive room. Our hostess made contact before our arrival (a nice, personal touch), was charming and friendly, and served us a delicious breakfast with home-made muesli. We also enjoyed meeting the other guests. A great B&B experience is much more memorable and heartwarming than some dead hotel.....psst.....d

This hotel is simply the best place to stay in Byron Bay. Well worth paying that little extra,so if you are stuck for choice look no further than The Beach Cape House. The place is very laid back, clean, comfortable and beautiful. It is also run by the most welcoming people too, like going from home to home. The best place we have ever stayed!

The friendly, accomodating young manager looked after us and made sure we had a lovely stay. We thought Links house was a lovely old house set in pretty grounds. All four of us, who went on a girly get-away, will be staying there again - we might even bring our husbands next time. -

Fortunately managed to changed the pricey, small dark bedroom allocated for our 3 night stay for an upstairs light spacious bedroom with increased price.(!)
Good variety of breakfast available. Tasty. -

My wife and I spent two wonderful nights at Splinters while exploring the many wineries in the Hunter Valley. Their very comfortable and well appointed lodging is situated right in the middle of the many excellent boutique wineries in the area. Bobby the proprieter met us when we arrived and showed us the room and explained the property. She recommended and booked a restaurant for dinner (and lunch the next morning). The fireplace was already to go. There was cheese and crackers, brownies, breakfast supplies, wine, port, chocolates and a coffee machine all there included in the price. The place was beautiful and the outlook peaceful.

Very friendly hostess, loved the stay. Me and my husband only had a one day stay as a final destination for our holidays. You have to stay at least 2 or 3 days to enjoy the scenery and tranquillity of the place. Unbelievable views and very peaceful place. Really good choice of in house movies , beautiful breakfast . Really enjoyed the stay. -

This is a home away from home, if your home's the cutest little character home nestled in a lush bamboo garden!

The owner Danielle has great attention to details, so she has prepared everything you can think of for a wonderful experience. Her hot breakfast (with 4 choices) was impressive. Her collection of books and DVD also made my stay a memorable one. -
