A very fine ambience in this delightfully restored winery. Complimentary port or muscat in the Great hall with two wood fires blazing was a relaxing way to end a day's driving. Geoff and I love staying at Peterson's Armidale Winery and Guesthouse. We are repeat visitors and appreciate the ambience, the great staff, the food and the beautifully appointed rooms. The staff were very understanding when we couldn't arrive by 2100 because of a detour because of bushfires and were more than willing to make us welcome by leaving the key and fresh milk for a cup of tea when we arrived.

The staff thought of everything and attended to all of the details. Everything was spotless and pristine, but had a very home-like and private feel. The beds were comfy. everything was thought of for a safe and comfortable stay. The rooms
were spotless, quiet and generous as was the bathroom. The hosts were so

Large room with real wood fire. Simple, but tastefully furnished. Welcome bottle of bubbles. High quality bathroom products. Very friendly staff. Lovely dinner and breakfast. MUCH better than anywhere else we have stayed the country. -

Easily reached, very quiet location with wonderful elevated views over golf course to surrounding countryside. Not crowded by any other nearby buildings, but close to Albury CBD and services. Room and en-suite exceptionally spacious with comfortable lounge. Excellent, very reasonably-priced meal from nearby golf club restaurant. -

All in all very enjoyable and worth the visit, so much so that after our first stay on Monday of last week we returned on Sunday just gone for another stay.

The hospitality of the owners was incredible, food was great, personally prepared from Robert, served in room by her lovely wife Jenny all surrounded by a nest room in a quiet forest environment. We enjoy the stay all time, sad we have to go.All the facility of a big hotel in a big family house! If you need a rest, you found it. -

The friendly service, the design of the room, the sight over darling
harbor, the services available in room, laundry service was perfect,
breakfast was amazing because of the variety of food that was available
(asian, european, hot/cold), certainly not the cheapest hotel in
town but worthwhile every cent -

The room itself was also massive with a separate living area which had a massive TV as did the bedroom and loved the fact you could control everything by the remote if you wanted to.Staff were great

I liked the warm welcome we received when arriving after hours. The beds were so comfy, clean rooms and the best shower - ever!! It is located right in the heart of SWR, with views to the park & ocean. Not to mention the very lovely guests whom remain from the 1800/1900's. The Heritage Guesthouse is a wonderful place to stay.. the décor is beautiful, clean, fresh, share kitchen available for continental breakfast (included in the price) plus ongoing coffee & tea for your convenience. Café right next door, beach is literally across the road, great shops..
Trial Bay Gaol, Smokey Cape Lighthouse plus great walks all only minutes away..

I loved the late check-out, (12 noon) - all hotels should adopt this
practice of letting you leave a little later. It certainly allayed a lot
of stress and if you check-in late, you feel like you got what you paid
for. I also like the fact there was a coffee machine in your room and

I have stayed in many hotels in major cities Asia,Europe and usa and
Canada in the last 2years and this hotel is as good as any of them.If it
was in Milan,New York,Tokyo,Stockholm or wherever it would be the
"in"place to stay. The staff are very competent and friendly
.The rooms are very well appointed and stylish.The bar and restaurant
are very good and have a great atmosphere .And the location is
excellent. It is an excellent hotel.

The owners are lively people who make their guests feel at home. It has funky decor that is certainly more interesting than the usual country bed & breakfast. I'd had a long drive from Sydney & was delighted when they offered a delicious meal so I didn't have to go out again. -
