  The room was SPOTLESS. It was no-frills but all the comforts were there. The location is wonderful for tourists. Excellent bed linens and towels. Very comfortable mattress. It was a bit of a throw-back to the 60s; this feature was endearing to us.   The Bayside Inn is right on the shore of Lake Otesago and the property is beautiful with a rustic feel. We stayed in the Inn, not the cottages, but the room was clean and even better than we expected. They even have cheap canoe/kayak rentals for the lake.   Excellent, family-owned & operated, motel on Canada St (main st. in Lake George Village). Art Gallery in lobby, lots of tourist info also. Can walk everywhere. Enjoyed the free morning coffee on the covered veranda overlooking the heated pool. Quiet, shady atmosphere at rooms and parking areas. Overall, we loved the Admiral and we will check there first before any other place in Lake Ge - My husband and I pulled up and thought what a cute place and was greeted by the friendly and helpful woman behind the desk. I assume she was the owner/manager. We were allowed to check in early as our room was ready and it was small but clean and nicely decorated. The Admiral is close to town so we walked everywhere. The pool was perfect. Small but heated clean with some shade for those who want it. At night the place is all lit up and looks beautiful. Wouls highly recommend to others.

  I was happily surprised to find that our room had a fridge/freezer as well as a microwave. I don't believe this was advertised on the website and would be a great addition. The location to the falls was also great and the manager was very friendly. - the hot tub, and it was quite ok to stay in there....

  The staff of The Downtowner were wonderful. Warm, friendly and very helpful with directions and suggestions of places to see, eat, etc. The location of the The Downtowner could not be beat! Right in the middle of downtown Saratoga Springs. It was great for strolling around the town, visiting the shops and checking out the different resturants ... was die leute sagen » and bistros. We were there for a concert at SPAC. Was very easy in and out for that venue as well. - Location is the best! Nice sitting area outside the room or around the pool. Wifi works great and we had a king bed which was great and comfortable. Quiet and friendly place to stay. The breakfast was minimal but uncommond grounds across the street has the best coffee & bagels or up the street on the left was a full all day breakfast for less than $10.
