Catherine's own history and the family artifacts from South Africa and other parts of the world just make this a jewel of a place to stay since there is something interesting in the house in every room. I'd recommend this - We stayed one night on our way to Niagara falls. Had a party of five and stayed in two rooms. We received a friendly welcome and tour of home by host. Rooms were large and quiet. Beds very comfortable. Home has an interesting history. Current host/owner has decorated the home very well with furniture and items from around the world. Breakfast was excellent. Many wineries are located within a short driving distance in the Finger Lakes region.

  I have stayed here over 5 times. Usually for the jazz festival. Beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Very elegant. The staff is extremely accommodating. Right in town. Close enough to all the restaurants and the main strip of Saratoga Springs. Will be back next year

  The Hotel was spotless top to bottom, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice for the diet concious. It was within 15 miles of were my granddaughter had to play lacrosse and the route to the fields was direct. The front counter staff printed us directions and delivered them to the room. Absolutely top class steakhouse on site which was pricey but definely worth the buck (as good if not better than any nyc. Steakhouse I've eaten in. Proximity to the highway a plus.
