  The location of the resort was prefect! We had a beautiful view from the second floor, so make sure you ask for a second floor unit. The front desk people were friendly and welcoming, and the maintenance guy was extremely polite! We love the studio unit layout and the kitchen amenities. Coffee and computer in the lobby a plus!   The best overall friendly staff I've encountered in recent travels. Helpful and pleasant with being obsequious. Other than "live dinner music levels"*, a very quiet place to stay, even though "pet friendly". The management might want to survey guests to see if the dinner music is as much a "value added" factor as they think. Clean ,comfortable and very diligent chambermaid (Julissa). Bellhops and valet parkers were exceptionally polite and attentive and the driver of the shuttle service to downtown/ uptown Oak Creek Brewhouse was courteous, pleasant and an informed (his name was the Dutch word for 'scholar' and sounded like Scheeler, but that is probably an approximation.

  We really enjoyed our stay. The room & hotel, in general, was clean, well-appointed, and beautifully furnished. The buffet breakfast was very nice, too. We were able to take the hotel shuttle to Chase field, while leaving our car safely parked at the hotel. The hotel rate was very reasonable.   The location is perfect to visit the Grand Canyon as it is located less then 10 miles from teh South Rim entrance. The village also offers a lot of possibilities for dining and has a general store for all kind of shopping.
