  The 1661 Inn and Guest Houses was perfectly situated so that it was a very quick walk to town, but removed enough to be quiet with a FABULOUS view. Their gardener must be a miracle worker because I've never seen so many vibrant flowers. While I don't usually expect much from a complimentary breakfast, this one was delicious!! I've never had a complimentar - I loved my view! I stayed in the main house and was in the Deering and my view was absolutely amazing! Loved the breakfast. The staff was so friendly. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I could not have enjoyed myself more! I will definitely be coming back and bringing my husband with me!
