  There is no negative thing i would mention. The room was new and clean. Breakfest ok. Really good position of the hotel is just perfect (about 10min to the Town Hall)! The park place is small but all the guests found a place while we were there. And finally yes, there are some homeless people arround the hotel, but we didn´t feel uncomfortable or... was die leute sagen » unsafety at all. We would recommend this hotel mainly for young people and travellers. - Close to our destination - walking distance. The staff was very helpful. Gave us walking instructions to our intended destination. Also pointed out alternate transportation solutions and approximate costs.

  Good and a clean place for the money. The staff were courteous and it is a simple and an inexpensive place to stay if you want something on a low budget. Walking distance to movies, and great ethnic asian cuisine. - I liked that is was pet friendly at no extra charge. Once we got the handicapped room, it was perfect. The beds were comfortable.

  Pacific Heights Inn is a true gem. We have stayed at this hotel 3 times - in 1999, 2004 and now in 2013 and each time the place was just right!It's not a "fancy place" but it's not a dive at all. Quaint and comfortable. Are group of 4 adults stayed in room 26 & 27 - adjoining rooms each containing a very comfortable king sized bed. Ernesto checked us in and he went out of his way to ensure a very good room for us. Also suggested some great ideas on what to do. Jonah in the morning was extremely efficient meeting our needs as wells as other clients. He was very professional and made calls to secure a bike activity we were to undertake.   The location is good, the neightboorhood is really quiet and safe and there is some small places to grab something to eat... close to lombard street which is reall close to the fisherman wharf and its easy to catch the buses from there... the place is clean and really confy.. we were not expecting much because of the price..but once we got there w... was die leute sagen » e were amazed, cuz the room was really nice and look really fancy actually, cable and wifi were good and the personal was really helpfull. - It looks a bit run down on the outside, but inside the rooms have been renovated and are very nice indeed: meticulously clean, very comfortable. There was a fridge and a microwave in ours, very handy. Spotless bathroom. Free (ample) parking in SF is invaluable. Location is very good too, just a very short walk off the lively Union street, convenient for buses... Overall, definitely recommended, we'll stay there again if we're ever in the area.

  Everything was excellent! I have stayed in hotels price much higher that were no where near as nice as this one! It wasn't a luxury hotel of course, but as a home base for a city trip I couldn't ask for more. And they have smoking rooms if you are so inclined.

  A good and convenient hotel to stay in while you are in San-Francisco. 20-25 minutes from Airport by taxi (~45-50$). This hotel doesn't have shuttles. Marina district is one of the most expensive and picturesque regions in the city. 10 minutes walk to the Museum of Fine Arts. 20 minutes walk to Lombard street & the most popular Pier 39. 30 min... was die leute sagen » utes walk to Downtown. A lot of shops & mini markets around. Breakfasts are not included. Free WiFi, clear rooms and hospitable personnel. Own par - I had a room that was large and very clean. Frig and microwave in room. It was easy access to the street, and I love this area of San Francisco. Close to Palace of Fine Arts, the Marina and shopping on Chestnut St. If the price is as competitive next year as this year when I visit San Francisco, I will definitely stay there.
