We initially had a street facing room which was loud but not unbearable, especially later on in the evening. Staff at the hotel did offer us earplugs if we needed them.   I booked this hotel for a quick two day trip to see San Francisco with our kids based on the good price compared to nearby hotels, not really expecting much in the way of facilities. My wife even encouraged me to reconsider after out of fear it would not be clean or safe. I'm happy to say we were very surprised and happy with this property. The rooms were clean & tidy with plenty of space. I would definitely stay here again.
