  absolutely worthy, the owner of the place is lovely, i really felt at home at oaklands... if you're planning to go to the island, this is the place to stay, best quality for money - nothing was too much trouble for the proprietors - they even ordered good weather for our stay!!! The small fridge in our room was an excellent idea.

Tony is a charming host for whom nothing is too much trouble, The setting is idyllic and everything in the houseboat is beautiful. Breakfast of a very high standard and cooked to order, again nothing was too much trouble. Rooms of a very good standard especially the largest of the rooms, with great balcony and masses of space. Despite being only the second lot of guests everything went without a hitch and owners were very positive about our suggestions.

  What a fantastic place, a real home from home but with the most picturesque view. We stayed a week but could easily have stayed longer. Heyvon is simply heaven.

The location was in easy access to the varied attractions of the Isle of wight.
