The Horse Guards lived up to its high rating...The room was spacious..spotlessly clean, warm, and comfortable.
Food was good and reasonably priced and hosts were welcoming and friendly.
Lovely quiet spot with country views( and rabbits!)....A perfect spot to relax and unwind and only a few minutes from Tetbury and Malmesbury......IWe absolutely recommend the Horseguards. A+stay.

The lay out was good
The facilities were good, we loved the cottage format with lounge and kitchen areas just a few some points to improve i.e. there was no milk or tea in the bedroom ( coffee and sugar) only this I am sure was a slip up

Very friendly staff with good food. The breakfast was delicious but beware of the portion size (huge). The coaching inn is in the centre of Devizes. Ask to see the cellars as they were part of a tunnel system that ran all around Devizes in the old days. Room No. 4 is said to be one of the most haunted in England.

Das ganze Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, es scheint unter dem Personal eine ganz spezielle, gute Stimmung zu herrschen, die sich auf das ganze Haus ausbreitet. Das Bett war sehr bequem und gross. We only stayed one night so not really able to comment. However, we were delighted with King John, we were attending a party in Iwerne Minster and hopefully next year when there is another party we will stay for a bit longer. Hope they let us know in time when the party is and before you are booked up. My husband said it is the nicest place he has ever stayed. -
The King John Inn is pub,restaurant and B&B of great character. We found it very clean,the staff were friendly and the food was freshly prepared and very good. Our 'standard' room had a good quality TV and coffee maker etc and the bed and bedding was of very good quality.

Everything - character pub - friendly locals - wonky floors and stairs - slept like a log in a big warm bed - excellent shared bathroom/shower. Breakfast to die for - porridge plus the works and plenty of it
bacon, sausages, beans, mushrooms, black pudding and tomatoe, toast and marmalade. All local product - didn't need to eat again that day. I'd give Sreve and Nicky marks 12/10 but mind the dogs everyone seems to have one :)

Staff were friendly and approachable and provided good service. Breakfast was lovely and cooked to order. I had a very comfortable bed with lovely pillows which meant I slept really well. The from was a good size and clean with a well stocked complimentary basket, made a nice change to have plenty of milk and tea bags.
