A friendly welcome and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and clean with a very nice bathroom featuring an excellent rainforest shower. The village is delightful and set amongst lovely countryside. It was a fine morning and we had breakfast outside on the sunny patio surrounded by flowers. Recommended. -

We were welcomed and shown to our room immediately. It was spacious and
clean with a comfortable bed and good sized bathroom with large shower.
We ate dinner there. The menu had a good number of mains choices. We
chose the guinea fowl breast which we found rather overcooked. However
the starter and home made bread made up for this. The house red was
mellow and not expensive. The breakfast was generous and enjoyable. The
staff were polite and friendly.

If we return to Ipswich we would definatley book a stay at The Salthouse Harbour again. - The hotel itself oozes sophistication. We felt special from the minute we walked through the doors! Everywhere was clean and tidy. All the staff were impeccably turned out, polite and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean and the shower was lovely and powerful. The bed was massive!!! The bedding was clean and fresh.

We stayed in the Superior Room which was superb. The breakfast was the best we have ever had. The dining room was lovely. Good car parking. We will be going again! - Very relaxed atmosphere and very helpful staff; nothing was too much trouble, and the room was excellently appointed.

Frendly efficient staff and everything is very clean. It's not the least stuffy and you feel at ease there. An encouraging price structure sympathetic to what for many people are hard pressed times. An alternative for me would have been to have made two 200mile car journeys in one day rather than one -

we stayed in a kinda annex the room was called Southgate. It was really comfortable. There was a DVD called "Whatever happened to Dunwich" that was entertaining! The meal at night and breakfast was fabulous...and "Mine host" was helpful and friendly....Plenty of free parking and the beach 2 mins away...I'm sure we will stay again
