We were welcomed and shown to our room immediately. It was spacious and
clean with a comfortable bed and good sized bathroom with large shower.
We ate dinner there. The menu had a good number of mains choices. We
chose the guinea fowl breast which we found rather overcooked. However
the starter and home made bread made up for this. The house red was
mellow and not expensive. The breakfast was generous and enjoyable. The
staff were polite and friendly.

We were so impressed with our apartment, we booked an additional two nights on the tail end of our trip. Everything about the accommodation far surpassed our expectations and we will not consider staying anywhere but here when we find ourselves back in the area. -

I enjoyed my stay here, although it is true to say that it is different from most hotels. The room has everything from kettle, toaster, fridge plus food and drinks for the following morning's breakfast. It is possible to stay there without seeing anyone. The security code on the front door is a good idea and makes it convenient for everyone. I would recommend this guest house to other people. It is very close to the town centre but on the opposite side of town from the railway station. The no 6

I was made very welcome whilst checking in, indeed I was a few hours early. The room although the smallest was more than sufficient for my 1 night stay. The bed linen was excellent and the room was spotlessly clean. I missed the full 'English breakfast' as I had to leave early but I had no doubt it would be excellent - as was my stay. -

We very much enjoyed our stay. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. At short notice, they helped us to find a local flower shop to get a bouquet of flowers for a 100 birthday. Ability to go out for food or make your own, very comfortable environment and relaxing rather than a bland hotel chain. Large selection of foods available at breakfast. -
Everything was absolutely superb, very welcoming after a long journey to be able to relax in clean and very high spec environment. There was nothing that hadn't been thought of. The buffet breakfast and the provisions made available on arrival was another wonderful benefit. I would recommend it to my family, friends and associates.

nothing was too much trouble Neil & Gill were the perfect hosts..we had a power cut due to a storm & soon Neil came with a torch to help us. such a joy to be so relaxed & made to feel very welcome in the evening along with the locals in the pub. food cannot fault it for quality & price.very good. good choice of fresh meat & veg too. highly recommended from us.
