A friendly welcome and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and clean with a very nice bathroom featuring an excellent rainforest shower. The village is delightful and set amongst lovely countryside. It was a fine morning and we had breakfast outside on the sunny patio surrounded by flowers. Recommended. -

We were so impressed with our apartment, we booked an additional two nights on the tail end of our trip. Everything about the accommodation far surpassed our expectations and we will not consider staying anywhere but here when we find ourselves back in the area. -

Travelled to Lavenham for a weekend break. It is a beautiful little town, steeped in history with pretty tudor buildings lining the streets. This Great House is set in the market square in the centre of the town and is a beutiful building in a wonderful setting. Our room was beautifully decorated, very spacious and comfortable and fully equiped with coffee machine & complimentary sherry! The icing on the cake is the hotel restaurant - the food is amazing! Make sure you book your table ahead

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and was so pleased with our little cottage. The fire was lit ready for our arrival, there was a little mini bar, breakfast cereals fresh bread, yoghurts milk etc? Everything was fantastic here. The staff brought you breakfast when you requested and nothing was too much hassle for them. I came from USA for the Service of Blessing in St. Mary's. I just loved the whole of the Ickworth estate. It was great to be able to see the work done on the church and graveyard and be able to see where my family are buried. See the monument and where monument cottage stood. I hope to come again. -

Staff was accomodating and understanding as we had our daughter with us. The staff switched rooms to make us more comfortable. Hot breakfast was a real treat. - Great hotel, clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast! Wehave stasyed here several times before and are never disappointed, wewill be back.
