Breakfast was great, the hotel is close to the town centre a short walk. There was ample parking. Free internet access was a bonus. The bedroom and bathroom were beautifully decorated. I would recommend this hotel. As a small hotel there is no lift so if you have mobility issues this may not be a suitable hotel for you.

We received a fantastic greeting and, throughout our visit, excellent personal service from all the staff that we encountered.
The standard of the evening meal, food and service, was very high to the point that we would definitely see this hotel as a 'destination' for a future visit. The breakfast hamper delivered to the room was a novel but very good touch.

Everything about my stay at Goldsborough Hall was what I had hoped for and beyond what I expected. The house is beautiful and set in lovely grounds which are well worth a walk around. The room was spacious, comfortable and immaculate. The staff and owners were friendly and curteous. Every moment I was there I felt welcome and also that my satisfaction was the priority. Goldsborough Hall provides the country manor stay that you think you can only dream of. I will definitely be returning.

Maggie greeted us with a lovely welcome and after showing us our room made us a big pot of tea with home made biscuits which was served in the sitting room. Breakfast was excellent - a real farmhouse breakfast and relaxed. It was lovely to sit with the other guests round a big farmhouse table. Unfortunately we were in a rush as we were off to a christening but we would have loved to have lingered longer. The room was really well appointed and the bed comfortable - we both had an excellent night

On arrival was put into a lounge area, and offered coffee. The owner arrived shortly after and carried our bags to the room, showed us how the remote control works on the TV, showed us the private bathroom which was excellent. We felt like we were treated like a king and queen. The morning breakfast was fresh, homemade and we were again given the royalty treatment. 11 out of 10 for the whole experience. I have NEVER been treated at any other accomidation so well, ever. BRAVO.

Excellent 5 star accommodation with a warm friendly welcome from Jane and Simon. Breakfasts were delicious. The room had everything we could possibly need and was of a very high standard. Good walk recommendations (and maps) from Simon and advice of where to eat were much appreciated. This is the best b&b we have ever stayed at and is in a beautiful area with lots to do.
