I loved everything about the hotel. Every member of staff was reallyhelpful and quite lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. The bookingout time of 12 noon was realistic and breakfast between 7 and 11 wascertainly more civilised than some hotels. Perfect location for walking in the Dales, especially if you want to completely forget about wind/rain etc once you're done trekking. Food was excellent, good drinks selection and by far the nicest place to eat or drink in Settle backed up with great staff! Really spacious rooms, very clean and well furnished. -

It was the cleanest East Coast resorts I've seen. There were people picking up litter all day long.
The hotel staff didn't bug us. It was very quiet on a night and we had a few channels on the tv. The hotel had a nice size on suite shower. Plenty of towels. Tea and coffee and Kettle in the room.
