  Beautiful property with high end modern décor. We were made to feel very welcome and cannot fault this accommodation or the lovely breakfast with superb views. Only a few minutes to Edinburgh yet this luxury B&B was a quiet country retreat from the city bustle.   Modern B and B. Host Vince was very welcoming and helpful. He offers more than expected eg . cheese bikkies and drinks on arrival, offered to make sandwiches lunch next day and in addition to usual B and B fare will change menu to suit the guest, will even print info to you from has computer! B and B in quiet rural area only 6 miles from city. ... was die leute sagen » Vince even offered to pick us up at anytime should we get stuck and need a lift. - The lodge was immaculate and Vincent was very helpfull , the facilities were close enough to the city but not too close . The local resteraunt was excellent and really relaxing with a few bars around , breakfast in the morning had everything anyone would need , couldn't fault the place .... Suuuuperb

  Overall quality of the place was really high including most comfortable bed I have ever slept, so clean and big room).. John was at there when we need and he is very helpful, friendly and kind. After staying one day you feel like you are at home more than a hotel. Location is 15-20 mins to the center and 5 mins by bus which is really good. I will - Room was very nicely and comfortably furnished, inpeccably clean that it made me feel at home immediately. There were nearby bus stops but I had preferred to walk (about 15 minutes to Waverley Station). A large supermarket (Tesco) is 5 minutes away and so are a number of restaurants. I went on a day tour that set off early in the morning and John (the owner) gladly served breakfast earlier than usual for me, so that was great hospitality.   Beautifuly decorated and very comfortable place to stay. Dean is a wonderful host - we felt like visiting an old friend. Good location as Edinburgh's Grouse House is situated in walking distance to all the attractions but far enough from them to easily find free parking. The added advice helped us plan our days. The fact that everything was clean and comfortable and tastefully done made our stay very enjoyable. The location made it very easy to visit The Royal Mile and all local attractions and dining. We would stay again.

  Warm, friendly welcome. Comfortable, spotless and well-equipped rooms. Fabulous breakfasts! Lovely grounds, loads of parking. Great area and scenery, very handy for Edinburgh, North Berwick and Muirfield etc. Good food and personal welcome at Longniddry Inn.   We absolutely loved Jude, who was very friendly and helpful in every single way. Beautiful eating area, lovely big Scottish breakfast, everything was in a very relaxed way, there was nothing that we couldn't ask Jude about or to help with.   thought it was well worth the money and would definately use again - clean, nice friendly lady (only saw this one member of staff) but she was v helpful. room very clean and bed was comfortably but its a bit dated.
