Very good price, thanks to the good promotion.
Easy access to public transport:
- Bus stops at the Hotel you can reach:
a. East Croydon Railway station (10 minutes)
b. Waddon Railway (3 min) or 10 min walk.
So it is better for business, but we were satisfied for sightseeing as well.
Room size is ok.
Cleanness 100%.

We were greeted immediately upon on our arrival from a very helpful, efficient member of the reception team. As we had arrived early our room wasn’t quite ready, but the receptionist immediately got onto the housekeeping to make it a priority. Set in exceptional grounds. Lovely woodland walks, lake, well cared for lawns and beds around house. Very beautiful country house with historic appeal. Rooms v comfortable. Food v high standard. It is an elegant hotel in a quiet but very nice district. It is very close to London Bridge, Tate Modern, Borough Market, Shakespeare globe. Extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay! Very quick check in with lovely staff who helped us to find bus routes.
The room we stayed in was amazing - everything from the layout to the comfy bed and huge shower made our stay so fun. We also had a great view onto the courtyard where the sun came in, and were able to see the park.
We were able to leave bags for the day. Tower Bridge was just down the road! Short bus journey to Waterloo/Southbank areas too.

Gutes Business-Hotel - It was excellent. I loved the newly renovated room. Everything worked sowell. I loved the bath tub and shower facilities, and the wonderful bedwith the duvet cover. Both cooked and cold buffet breakfast was really good quality. Customer Service. We arrived after midnight, whole area was cut off from mains water. Hotel provided all guests bottled water and a bucks fizz at breakfast to compensate, even though supply was reconnected by 7:30am. - A little piece of luxury in a great setting
