  Amazing! I didn't know what to expect from the hotel or the location. What a great surprise. The Lake District, the Village of Grasmere and the Waterside hotel were great!. The hotel was spotless, great staff, room was fantastic. Amenities were great in the room and in the hotel. The big suprise was the food at the hotel. Breakfast was good,... was die leute sagen » but dinner was absolutely fantastic!! - The peace and quiet in the gardens and the excellent breakfasts.thestaff were very friendly and helpful.this is the second time we havestayed here and we have enjoyed both stays.we would'nt hesitate to stayagain if we could get a good deal like the one we have just had.

  From the moment my girlfriend and i arrived to the moment we left , we were treated to a first class service , the staff were friendly and helpfull , the rooms were beautifuly presented and clean . The hotel was faultless in every way , we are certainly going to go back . We can also highly recommend the restaurant . The staff were lovely, the meal in the restaurant at night was really nice and great value. I booked a double room and got a lovely suite which I didnt expect. Very good overall.

  Everything! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, both at the hotel and the Lake District itself. The location was lovely, the staff and food were excellent and our room was better than we imagined.   Everything about the Hotel is first class. From the moment we checked in the staff are so friendly and very professional everything was excellent. It was my birthday and we had chocolates left in the room and also a nice touch there had been placed a hot water bottle in the bed. Never had that before.   This is what we call a really nice, comfortable hotel, one in which you feel at home. Everything was perfect, and the staff are so friendly and helpful! We were sad to leave! - The staff dealt very efficiently with our wishes and gave us a very nice stay in their lovely hotel. They tried very hard to make sure everything was perfect.

  Beautiful guest house. The room was a good size, beautifully presented and very clean. It was nice to have the little extras - cork screw and wine glasses in the room, access to a fridge and fresh milk and air freshener in the bath room. The towels were a good quality and there were plenty of them. The owners ann-marie and paul were lovely and very informative of the surrounding areas.. arrived(a day late; due to really bad snow) to a lovely warm welcome,and a nice piece of cake!
