  Brilliant staff - consumate professionals and very friendly; they could not have been more helpful despite the ungodly hour at which we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble and we will definitely be back again. Amazing breakfast (loved the free food for under 16s) and wonderfully comfy beds. Your staff were so friendly, small hitch on my booking but they sorted it. THANK YOU. 2. Family friend booked a room at Newcastle south, but again your staff pulled out the stops & changed the booking to Airport south. we all had a great w/end.

  I recently stayed in the Hilton in York and I have to be honest, I came away feeling ripped off. It nearly put me off trying the Hilton again. I tentatively booked the Double Tree for 2 nights - I have a sweet tooth and the warm cookie was a real incentive - and a lovely touch. I have got to say that I loved the hotel. I usually stay at the Matfen... was die leute sagen » Hall but I will always check the Hilton first now as everything about my room/stay was perfect. - I can honestly say that this was my best hotel experience ever! And I have traveled extensively in Asia and Europe. I stayed at the Double Tree at the Newcastle Airport because I had an early flight the next morning. My kids and I enjoyed an excellent meal at the restaurant before they headed back home to Durham. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. The room was perfect.
