  I am sorry to know the Watermill is under threat. It is one of very few hotels in Paisley. It is comfortable and friendly and the room clean and fresh. The location by the river was a real bonus. Effort to sustain and improve would turn this from Good hotel to a very good one.   The staff went out of their way for you, polite, friendly and knowledgable. The room excellent, the bed incredible and considering proximity to airport ( on site ) no noise at all. I really couldn't reccomend this hotel enough! I have stayed in 5* hotels but this actually surpassed service and my family had the best nights sleep in a hotel! Receptionist was helpful and efficient. Sofa bed was sturdy, comfortable and did not creak. Restaurant had a good variety of food on offer at a reasonable price and staff friendly and efficient. Break fast had a good variety on offer to cater for all tastes and was delicious.

  The Abbey Inn was a great price per night and that included a fab breakfast. The Staff were all very friendly and helpful, even before we left the country they were advising me via email about buses and taxis etc. The busy bar downstairs was comfortable and the food was excellent. - A really good 'value for money' hotel. Great choice of tv channels, tea and coffee facilities, lovely bathroom, everything extremely clean. Was told to help myself to any amount of free coffee or tea as I waited in the TV lounge area, waiting to be collected by a friend. Much better than having to sit in my room.
