  I have stayed in 5* hotels all over the world and Sunny Brae is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Master Bedroom is excellent. View from the room is stunning. Evening meal was excellent. The wine list must be the envy of these so called 5* hotels.   A gem of a place run by a lovely couple who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. On arrival we were upgraded to a beautiful four poster room with sea view. The house is very well kept and well proportioned so you're not disturbed by the noise of other guests. Fantastic location overlooking the beach and with lovely grounds. The beds were delightfully soft, the pillows fluffy, the bathroom sunny and roomy. The breakfast was delicious. The garden was wonderful and the path to the beach couldn't be better. The staff were excellent as well, the lady there gave us a tip to go to the Nairn Caeligh the evening we stayed there. We ended up winning a bottle of sherry and were out danced by 80 year old women. This hotel was a splurge for us and I wish we could have spent our entire trip there, it was

Great unexpected places to get a bite or dine in style are within walking distance of Wetherby.

Stayed for 2 nights using it as a base to travel across various towns from Aberdeen to Inverness. As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable eating in the bar area. The staff were excellent and could no do enough to make you feel welcome & relaxed in this hotel. I would certainly recommend this to my friends & family.
