  Even though we were booked into the Sapphire, we ended up a few doors down at the 'Pearl' which is their sister Hotel. All rooms in each Hotel are the same according to the Pearl Manager, so that was fine with us. Our room was in the 'sub' area below street level, but still with a window to the outside so wasn't claustrophobic.   We stayed at the hotel for only one night as we were seeing a concert at wembley, the staff where very friendly and could not do enough to help us in our stay including sorting out our journey to and from our event, the room was very clean , crisp white, bed sheets on our four poster ( very comfy) bed , we were a little late for breakfast but the ... was die leute sagen » staff were still very obliging and made sure we had breakfast. I would definatley stay at this hotel and recommend it to our friends. - Staff was very helpful, room was fresh, new, clean and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was very modern. Location, although away from main sightseeing areas, in a good residential area very close to Portobello road. Good value in London.

There are tea and coffee facilities in the rooms also. We were right on the top floor and there - Pretty much everything! From the moment you walk in, you can smell the cleanliness in the hotel. Our room was on the 2nd floor, so it was quite a hike. The room was quite small, but was very clean, cozy and the beds were really comfortable. The bathroom was also small but very clean. Breakfast every day was scrambled eggs, yoghurt, cereal, milk, jam, coffee/tea, so there was not much variety, however we felt that we got all and more for the money we paid - the hotel was an amazingly good deal f

  I booked into this hotel due to its proximity to the Hammersmith Apollo (went to see Josh Widdicombe - great stand-up comedian, fantastic gig!) It's a brilliant, cool hotel for its modest cost, comfortable, clean, with good decor - and the staff are welcoming and friendly! (Opposite the tube station is a very good p - The staff are incredibly friendly, while being laid back. The hotel is an old Georgian townhouse on a lovely street and within a 10 minute walk of shepherds bush empire. There are a small row of shops over the road which is handy, and the grove restaurant opposite is lovely too and was offering a discount to London Grove guests while we were there!
