  I'll start by saying that I saw my parents' hotel in Mayfair, The Millenium, which is supposed to be upscale...which it was, but for double the price, their room was only slightly larger than ours at the Hyde Park Boutique.   Location is outstanding, on a very quiet street of all small hotels with a park the length of the street. Very close to Paddington. Good pubs and restaurants steps away from hotel. Furniture barely fits in room so we did a little rearranging to make it work for us. Beds were comfortable. Very clean. Window in room opens wide and we were thankful for that during London's heat spell. - The receptionist made us feel at home once we checked in. Very helpful and cheerful, even managed to get us the discounted ticket and beat the queue at London Zoo! And the location was perfect! Short walking distance from Paddington station, in the middle of bus lane, surrounded by lush garden and near to good restaurants. Oxford street is 20 mins away max by bus.

  The staff were all very helpful especially the lady on reception. I came with my Dad and his mobility is limited but nothing was to much trouble. Fortunately he had a room on the ground floor.   Es ist neu renoviert bzw. wird gerade noch renoviert, sogar ein Lift wird angeboten - Das Hotel ist super gelegen und sehr sauber. Die Zimmer sind sehr neu und einladend. Personal war sehr freundlich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Einrichtung ist zwar einfach, aber für diesen Preis völlig o.k..
