  My husband and I stayed at the South Place Hotel for a week's vacation. The hotel is in the heart of the business district, so it is a quieter neighborhood on the weekends, but bustling during the week. There are a number of nearby pubs, and a Marks & Spencer across the street if you require groceries. Always on hand to help. I was very grateful as I arrived on an early flight (20+ hours) and they arranged a room for me prior to normal check in and also did the same for a late checkout. I loved the Rosebery so much I extended my stay from 1 week to 2 weeks. Close to tube and buses right on your doorstep. Good supermarkets and felt safe at night - lovely neighbourhood - close enough to all the main attractions, but not so busy. Special mention to John (

Great location . I will stay there again . - excellent to have a small apartment instead of a hotel room, very good value for money. Has everything one needs in an apartment, even for a few days (kitchenette, fridge, crockery, cutlery). Nice modern and decoration, very comfortable. Modern flat screen TV and even an iPod docking station! I would go here again for a short city trip in London. Easy walk from Russell Square and to British Museum, Univ of London. Just opposite Charles Dickens House.
