  This is a lovely, quiet location, but not too far off the beaten track.It is very comfortable, with lots of spacious lounge areas. The qualityand choice of breakfast is as good as we've encountered anywhere anddinner was also excellent. The owners and staff are very friendly andhelpful, without being intrusive.   Friendly and cosy - good food and easy atmosphere especially with the roaring fire - Wonderful location for hiking and cycling. It is a warm, welcoming, friendly and informal place with excellent service from all the staff. After a long hike, dozing by the large fire in leather armchairs in the cosy residents lounge is to be recommended!

  I thought this place was wonderful one could moan about the traffic noise and the noise from rooms above but that's something to take up at the time. The service was so good nothing was to much trouble the staff where excellent , food great, local venison out of this world and above all the management really cared well done and see you soon. A very good Menu selection. Staff very helpul, friendly & polite. Arran Room which we stayed in was very beautifully furnished, with a king size bed. A very good night sleep and no sound from other guests. Hope to stay again on a weekend break. Thank you

  What a wonderful find, everyone made us feel very welcome. Recently refurbished to a very high standard last year and maintained to make it feel like it has only just been finished. All very clean.   The staff were great, very friendly. The accommodation was lovely, more than we expected. The beds were very comfy and the en-suite bathrooms were perfect after a day at the beach. A very relaxing place with lots of privacy. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. The cook came out and shared a joke with the kids. The bedroom/bathroom were clean & very comfortable. We had a private lounge/kitchen area which was lovely. We had our own front door key, so we could leave without disturbing anyone else (we left quite early).

  We stayed just one night at Plas Gwyn. Everything about Plas Gwyn is top notch. The house has been renovated sympathetically. We stayed in "Mr Wynne Williams" room. It was comfortable, well equipped and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was lovely, at a table shared with guests from the other two letting rooms. The WiFi works properly too! Other nice touches include bike storage and a b - The Staff are very welcoming and super friendly/helpfull. Plas Gwyn has the Cottage next to it so Self Catering is also catered for. The location is perfect for Hill Walking Backpacking Mountain Biking/Cycling and most mountain sports.Dolgellau is a quaint small town, with lots of interesting shops, and for a little more shopping its a small hop to Barmouth and the seaside. Dolgellau is right on the edge of the Cader mountain range and the mighty Snowdonia National Park.

  We had an amazing stay at this guest house. Rooms are amazing and spacious and equiped to a high level, king sized bed, huge plasmas, dvd etc etc...The view outside the balcony wasnt bad either -breathtaking views over looking the beautiful scenery. The bathroom was amazingly equipped, full ceiling shower, with multiple jets and shower heads also ... was die leute sagen » got our thumbs up.. You would really have to be in the hotel to appreciate the experience. Service was also amazing, we were greeted upon our arrival - The room was fantastic absolute luxury and the "RainSky E" shower was a real treat. Also the Owner (a real gentleman) welcomed us by name. The staff were excellent and made us feel very much at home. To top everything we had a traditional full breakfast served in a dining room fitted with the largest aquarium we have seen making a big finale to a wonderful visit.

  The house is beautifully and stylishly furnished, the owner obviously has a good taste, down to the last detail, ie. with the Welsh slate place mat, white dinner set, bold black and cream curtains in living room with a chaise long and a upright telescope. The hosts are very friendl - The owners Jan and Pete were so friendly and we felt at home immediately. They even booked us a meal at a locally recommended restaurant for the evening as we had not had chance to do this before our stay. Everything was spotlessly clean. The rooms were beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The location ideal. Views lovely. Felt like we'd been to a Spa for the weekend. Perfect!

  Nick and Sharon, the owners could not have been more helpful when I was stranded 15 miles away owing to a mechanical failure of my bicycle which prevented me from reaching Ty Seren. Nick had no hesitation in offering to pick me up in his car and transport me and my bike to their B&B. The standard of the accommodation was excellent as was my full "Welsh" breakf - The lady was SO accommodating, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Room was nicely furnished and very clean in a beautiful old house! Superbly located as a central base for exploring after a hearty properly cooked breakfast. Excellent and would recommend to anyone.
