  I liked the fact that it was located so close to the city that I couldeasily walk to major tourist attractions. I also appreciated the use ofthe free car park. - The Mercure Lodge Hotel, Cardiff is a great hotel based about 5 mins from the centre - An excellent base for a weekend in Cardiff. Would reccomend :o)

  Very friendly staff, and the bathroom facilities were excellent - very clean and convenient, since the toilet and the shower were together. The 4-room female dorm I stayed in had ample space. This was very different and miles better than the backpackers place I stayed at in London. It's also quite easy to find - only about 5 to 10 min away from th... was die leute sagen » e coach and rail station. And all this for only £17 per night! - The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and tidy. The breakfast is the most enjoyable continental breakfast I have ever seen in hostels, and there are free dinner nights. There is a living room where you can watch films and play video games. The locaton is excellent, just ten minutes walk to the castle.

  The Kitchen was very good with all items needed to cook and prepare , we were also given a very early breakfast when we had an early morning train which was excellent as all cafés where closed at 5am and the Television Room was very good all three of us would like to stay again soon - It's a hostal not a hotel, so you expect it to be basic - whic... was die leute sagen » h it was. But, it was clean, friendly and quiet. Great value and located just out of the city centre. Also, a nice surprise to be able to help yourself to toast, cereals and coffee for breakfast. - i had a great stay here, the hostel and rooms were clean and the staff were helpful and friendly, what more can you ask for from a hostel. the location is great, just a few mins walk from the city centre and the free breakfast in the morning was a nice touch

  Very cheap, excellent value, very friendly staff, easy access. Very well positioned for Cardiff visit for rugby international (and Wales thrashed England as well! Thanks for arranging that!). We'll definitely be returning in future if there's availability. - Great location, short walk from the train station, right in the centre of town.
