  Rooms are excellent value for the money and I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of cleanliness. Beds are warm and comfortable. Rooms on the ground floor along corridor behind the front desk seem to be in a quiet position, with no evidence of noise from other areas. The hotel was in an excellent position for ease of getting to Motorpoint Arena, which was just across the r - As we walked in the young lady on the reception was very polite and helpful the position of the hotel was excellent there is no parking but we parked in the st davids centre directly opposite the hotel and were there for 20hrs and it only cost £11 if you dont want to take your car the train station is only a 5 minute walk the room was really nice and facilities were very good already planing another stay at the ibis would reccomend value for money especially as it was only a 2 minute walk into

  Our 3rd floor room was clean, well equipped with towels and toilet sundries. Heating system was excellent and we liked the facility of being able to open the window for extra ventilation. The tea/coffee- making facilities were very good and there was no problem obtaining extra milks etc from the trolley. This was a - The staff were excellant, helpful and friendly. They gave us interconnecting rooms for us and our 2 grandchildren age 13 and 11 which was ideal. the room was pleasant and clean, it was in an ideal position for the shopping centre and the Mermaid Quay and the Dr Who experience all within easy walking distance. The breakfast was ok the continental part much better than the hot food.Good choice of drinks and proper orange etc. Good value for what we paid.

  Great location, good price, friendly staff, great leisure facilities,lovely modern room with some character. Didn't eat here so cannotcomment about food but menu and bar looked good. - Staff were welcoming, helpful and the food was fantastic and above all the bed was really comfortable.   I liked the fact that it was located so close to the city that I couldeasily walk to major tourist attractions.   Nice welcome on arrival. Good sized room with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Our room was on the road side of the building and as it was a warm night we needed the window open. Noise from the traffic was quite loud. Decided to eat in the restaurant and I'm so glad we did. What a fantastic dinner! Exceptionally well presented and superb to eat. The staff - The staff. The General Manager (Gerry) and/or Neil were often present to ensure that the needs of our group of 8 "mature gentlemen" were catered for. All the staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. We all enjoyed the breakfast and dinner experiences. Thanks to the staff for helping to make a great rugby weekend - despite the result of the big match! We'll be back!

Bathroom has a shower but no bath, but the shower worked well with good temperature control and water pressure. Tv and remote worked well and all the controls functioned well.Wif-fi is free and worked well too. The lighting in the room was good, and the desk was just large enough to work on. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good for just £7.95 all- in.
