  Lovely hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had an inland double and the room was clean and bright, and warm on such a cold weekend. Very comfortable bed. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was great (although it is over a bath). The free parking was a bonus, and it's not far to walk to the hotel. - The food was outstanding, the ... was die leute sagen » room was lovely. We felt very comfortable there.   Reise erfolgte mit Kleinkind (22 Monate); Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich. Angabe auf der Homepage, as Babybettchen nichts kostet war falsch, es werden eigentlich 10 Pfund pro Nacht berechnet. Auf unseren Hinsweis auf die Homepage hin, mußten wir diese Gebühren nicht bezahlen, was wir sehr fair fanden.   We visit Brighton several times each year; this was our first stay at the Granville. Excellent location at a very reasonable price. We stayed in 'Lewes', a small room, very nicely designed (with an emphasis on glass blocks) and furnished. It was next to the lift (elevator) but we were not at all disturbed by operating noise. W - Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great views of the West Pier and promenade. Close proximity to train station - ~£5 in a taxi Boutique feel with themed rooms. It would be nice to have an option of which themed room you get and to see the options online - probably possible if you call them up though. Jacuzzi in the Sea-view rooms works a treat! American style diner below (room service available). Huge portions in the sharing platters.

  The receptionist ( dark hair , European) who checked us in and out was a great advert for the hotel , professional and very friendly , nothing was too much trouble for her .   A modern hotel with free wi-fi and free facility of an ironing room which proved useful. We stayed in a standard room with good wet room at the front of the hotel overlooking a busy road but we heard no traffic noise. The air conditioning very efficient. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent value for money with extended breakfast times at week... was die leute sagen » ends. We arrived in Brighton by train for a shopping weekend and visit to the Pavilion. The hotel is situated within a two minute walk of the station. - Staff extremely friendly and happy to help. Location is fantastic right by the station and a short walk to the north laines. Room was clean and spacious, fairly functional but that's not a bad thing. The lobby and communal areas and well decorated and welcoming. We had a room at the back of the hotel on the top floor and slept soundly even with the window open- anyone who has visited Brighton before will appreciate how rare this is!!

  Staff were excellent & helpful.young lady on the Tuesday evening with v short blonde hair asset to the hotel along with the breakfast lady who was there everyday (middle age long hair) was so lovely. Rooms were spotless, we stayed in 519 with 2a/1c and had lots of room. Ate dinner n hotel twice ad canno fault the food- v varied menu. We were 2 minutes from the lanes and only a five minute stroll from the sea front & 10 from the pier at the most . - We liked the size of the family rooms. We split the 5 members of the family girls in one room and boys in the other. Breakfast on both mornings was amazing, we never qued or had to ask for something to be replaced. The staff were efficient and very polite. Our family really really enjoyed our stay and will be using the Hotel again when we next visit.
