This day was my checkout and seeing what was happening with the weather I asked the receptionist to hold my room which they could do until 6pm. There's a bar restaurant across the road and the food was very good and reasonable and the staff were lovely .I'd have no hesitation in recommending the Ibis hotel , we stayed there before and will again .

I did not eat in the hotel so I can't comment on the food but there are lots of lovely places to eat nearby. Their location is about a 15 minute walk to and from the train station. If I'm ever in Belfast again, this will be my first choice.

The rooms were clean, and comfortable. Although the hotel is a bit out of the way from Belfast city centre, there are lots of restaurants and bars in the surrounding area if you don't mind a wee walk and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel entrance (although no Sunday service, unfortunately). The Balmoral is good value for money. I would definitely stay here again.

We were staying for the Ice hockey, which was a 15 minite walk away, Titanic was a bit longer but still walkable. There was a good choice at breakfast. The atmosphere was brilliant, we had a fantastic time. The crack was great in the bar when we returned for the Darts venue. My son aged 11 really enjoyed the atmosphere in the bar and he was made feel welcome to sit in the bar while we enjoyed a few drinks.I would highly recommend the Premier Inn to anyone staying in Belfast, very central to all hot spots.
