  We were made to feel very welcome on arrival at reception. The receptionist was cheerful, friendly and couldn't have been more helpful.   For us, the simplicity of the full clean domestic facilities with no unneccesary clutter. It was a no-fuss stay. We managed to do enough self-catering to keep costs down and be self sufficient, but still go out and treat ourselves on occassion.   Prestwick is a lively town - unexpectedly. Plenty of things going on, plenty of choices for eating. This property was just what we needed, central to all the outlying places we wanted to visit without being in a city centre. The Fernbank could not be better located,on the main street at the centre of everything.
