Nikki and Steve were amazing hosts --- they made us feel right at home! The location is perfect, right in the middle of Harpenden and close to anything you could possibly want. We even walked from the train station. The rooms were newly decorated, the beds and showers were amazing, having the pub downstairs was great for local flavor and relaxing,

Immediate attention by friendly staff on arrival, We were part of a Christmas party booking staying overnight. Although busy our meals were all served together and the food was hot and extremely well presented. Our room was wonderful with everything we needed. My husband especially enjoyed the full english breakfast to next morning. Will definitely return and hopefully stay for longer to enjoy the town.

Enjoy the hundreds of years old wooden quirky White Hart for what it is. It is not a modern concrete square hotel. You will be pushed to find a flat floor upstairs as the oak beams have bowed with time. Very nice staff and helpful, always most busy. Nice selection of meals, cooked correctly and serviced well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food served was excellent. We so enjoyed our first evening meal that we returned for the second evening before we returned home. We were able to leave the car parked there while we used the bus, which stopped right outside the hotel, to visit St Albans.
