  This is a large appartment on the 3rd floor split into various rooms. Larger rooms are mainly equipped with domitory beds while the smaller ones have double beds. The location is excellent, very close to all main sites and the t1 tram line. The rooms are clean. The brekfast is very good. Mr. Ali sent me a map prior to arrival. There is a large sign nex - Fun, lively, friendly and welcoming staff. Very comfy beds, yummy breakfast, clean and good showers. Castle Hostel is very near to the Blue Mosque so you can just pop there after dinner to enjoy some salep and the buzz. We felt home and definitely stay there next time we go to Istanbul.

Actually when we arrived he even gave us a nice introduction about the city that was very helpful. Although the residence is located in a narrow alley it is only 10-12 minutes walk to Taksim square and there are lots of stores and restaurants all around. Mr.Safa who runs this family business is a very kind young man who tries to be the best host ever making you feel at home. Our room was generously upgraded by him to a spacious two bedroom apartment with an amazing city view which made our stay even better. I surely recommen
