  This is a large appartment on the 3rd floor split into various rooms. Larger rooms are mainly equipped with domitory beds while the smaller ones have double beds. The location is excellent, very close to all main sites and the t1 tram line. The rooms are clean. The brekfast is very good. Tea is for free and Mr. Ali (the owner) will make everything... was die leute sagen » he can to make you feel comfortable at his place. PS: It was NOT difficult to find. Mr. Ali sent me a map prior to arrival. There is a large sign nex - Fun, lively, friendly and welcoming staff. Very comfy beds, yummy breakfast, clean and good showers. Castle Hostel is very near to the Blue Mosque so you can just pop there after dinner to enjoy some salep and the buzz. We felt home and definitely stay there next time we go to Istanbul.

  A lot of thanks to staff!!! a lot, a lot!!! You helped me so much! I really recommend this hostel. Excellent location in the centre of the city. Cheap price for a single tourist. No noise. People write they wake up because of prayers in the early mornings. I slept and heard nothing (I closed the window)! Reception 24 hours (I arrive at 6.30am and... was die leute sagen » could have a bath and breakfast). Good Internet. But you need to know it is really simple rooms!!! - I stayed for two nights and was on my own. The room was very small, about 2x2m2 but I didn't need it to be bigger. All I wanted was a place to sleep at night and leave my luggage during the day. There was a double bed in the room, with a very comfortable, hard mattress, a sink, a mirror and a TV. There was also very good wi-fi. It was quiet and clean. Centrally located, super cheap, friendly receptionist. Perfect for me.
