The location is just fabulous, close to all major sites. Little Haya Sofia is next to the hotel and was nice surprise for us. Lots of restaurants and cafes around, but the hotel is staying on small quite street, so this doesn’t bother you at all. Hotel is a nice place to stay with very friendly and helpful staff.

Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

The best part of the hotel was the staff - they literally ran through tear gas with us to help us make our way to a shuttle for an early morning flight. Beyond these mild heroics, they also were very valuable in helping us navigate the city, make plans, and were responsive to any room-related requests we had.
