  Das Hotel liegt ziehmlich Zentral. Die Strasse ist auch sehr schön. - I'm very grateful for Mme Elif, she was very proffesional in handling a passport-related situation. I also noticed a precsion in everything I asked for. Before leaving the hotel , I was planned to have a taxi pick up at 4:45 in the morning . at 3:30 am ,safe box in my room failed to open with all my valuables inside (passport , air ticket , money..) I picked up the phone and asked for help , a few minutes later a smily guest service personell came over and open it for me . I expected to have some delay

  Alles hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen, sehr freundliche zuvor kommende Mitarbeiter .Sehr hygenische Ausstattung . Mit unserem kleinen Hund konnten wir uns im Hotel frei bewegen, das hat uns sehr gefallen. - Location, comfort and breakfast - all faultless. I hope all staff received some of the large tip we left at the end of our stay as we so seldom had the right money at the right time. Tip - use the back door when walking into Sultanahmet. Very happy to stay at Hotel Kalyon again.and thank you to all helpful and attentive staff! - Istanbul is eclectic, lively and definitely worth several days exploration! The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we requested anything. After leaving the hotel, when a problem arose, the reception staff were amazing and could not have done more to assist. The location was perfect to visit the main attractions in the city, which were within walking distance. It was also situated on the coast overlooking the Sea.

The staff are really welcoming and helpful, the suites are fresh and spacious and have kitchens, a sitting room, and the all important item while travelling- a washing machine! It is within walking distance to many of the historical attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern and Topaki Palace.
