I missed my flight from my previous destination to Istanbul. Gurkan was really helpful in rearranging my transfer to the apartment. Upon arrival we met Harkan who works there and he was so helpful. He assisted us with our luggage to the top floor. My old mother and young kids didn't mind the walk up as the apartment was so nice and comfortable and the view of the blue mosque and sea was so beautiful. Harkan also gave us good deals when we bought things at their shop. He and he was really nice to me and my family and made our stay in Istanbul even more wonderful. Love the location and great hospitality. Definite to make any traveller feel welcome!

Very good location, within reach of public transport. Excellent service by Mr Hakan Cimen, showed us the places to shop for our groceries and shortcuts to the Blue Masjid. Also many thanks to Mr Firat Ozguler who extended his service to us too.

- Amazing location right by the Blue Mosque, just where you want to be. - Plenty of space with two bedrooms and a total of 5 beds. - Nice bathroom and kitchen. - Incredible host who made sure everything was great including airport transport and restaurant recommendations.
- Call to prayer is really, really loud but we just went back to sleep. - There is a street light right outside the master bedroom window but we still slept like rocks from all the walking.
The rooms are spacious for family trip, helpful staff, simple interrior but comfortable. It is much better to ask the staff to call for taxi or van as it is much cheaper and efficient.

Starting with the pros, which are pretty much. The location is great, really near to the old city scenes "Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya, TopKapi, Hippodrome", all of them are at a 5 mins walking distance. Lots of shops and restaurants everywhere. The staff were absolutely great "Mr. Gurkan, Hakim, and Fahd" were genuinely helpful and went above and beyond to help and guide us at all times. They also managed us the city trips with a good discount as well. The apartment was nicely furnished, fully equipped kitchen, one big master bedroom, and another room + reception which had 4 single beds, that makes it perfect for families or a group of people. The apartment was also very clean and all the bed sheets, towels, bellows looked new. All in all, fantastic experience, and I would recommend it for any family or group of people.
This is not exactly a hotel, it's a rental building. So housekeeping was not automatically everyday, you need to request for it. It didn't have a washing machine. Although this might not be a problem if you are staying for a couple of nights, it might be necessary for longer stays "6 days & above". These are minor drawbacks that didn't affect our experience much.
The location was perfect and walking distance to all the tourist attractions. Lots of restaurants and shops everywhere. Beds were very comfortable and apartment was cleaned once during our stay and new towels provided. The staff were very helpful and made us feel very welcoming :) especially Hakan. Would definitely return.
The only downside is the smell in the bathroom. Not the apartments fault but think it is just the general sewage smell in Turkey as i have been Turkey 3 times and the bathroom always smells.

Location is great. Every thing is around you. You just need to walk into the history of Istanbul. Apartment was very clean and new stuff are there. It was also very safe for families.

I loved the location. Steps to everything and absolutely fabulous restaurants basically right next door. The view from the roof was magical.

We arranged the transfer from the airport to the apartment with Flamingo apart, which seemed very convenient. However when we came out nobody was waiting for us. We waited for more than half an hour until somebody arrived. On the other hand for the transfer from the apartment to the airport they were very punctual.
I really had good and safe stay, I take this opportunity to thanks all the Flamingo’s staffs and especially to Mr. Gurkan as he was very friendly and help full all the time
The owner Mr. Gerkin was very helpful and honest, he can speak English fluently which was very helpful. He arranged for us room in the ground floor based on our request. He arranged a free bus from the airport. In many times we seeked help from him and he was good advisor for us. Also he kept our baggage for few days for free while we were in Trabzon. Mr. Hakem is very helpful as well. I would recommend this hotel strongely.
The apartment is next to school, which might not be suitable for those who will not wake up early. Forutunately our stay was during school holiday.
Fantastic location just behind the Blue Mosque and a short walk to all attractions in the old part of Istanbul. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. Plenty of room in the bedrooms. It was good to have breakfast included, although the apartment also had its own facilities. Unlike some other reviewers we loved the muezzin calls even at 4am - it's all part of the experience. Staff were helpful.
Curtains in triple bedroom need to be stronger as there is a street light directly outside. Lounge area a little small, although we didn't spend much time in the apartment. We had 6 people but it would have been perfect for 4.

This is a brilliant hotel in Istanbul. I will recommend it to everyone. We stayed in apartment 1, which could sleep 7. Everything was new and clean and very comfortable. It took us about 3 minutes to walk to the blue mosque room here, so it's ideally located. Free wifi and great staff were a big plus.
The plugs in one room didn't work, and the main bedroom door didn't latch properly. Minor maintenance issues that should be rectified soon.
The apartment was spacious and clean in an excellent location. The owners went out of their way to help us find our way around Istanbul. The apartments are a 10min walk to all the sites: Blue mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone planning a trip to Istanbul!
Flaming a was very close to all the sightseeing places. It was a safe environment and the friendly staff couldn't be faulted. We even got a free transfer from the airport

Very nice hotel location. The perfect place for traveling with a family of 3, 4 children. A very beautiful city. There are a lot of entertainment (historical buildings, museums and parks) for adults and children. Friendly staff.
Loved it! I took a studio on the last floor, with a terrace on hagia sophia and another on the sea! It's got all the commodities of a hotel, with the piece of mind of a private place. I was on my own, the staff was lovely, looked after me, and gave me good deals in their shop (annexed to the hotel). Basically, if you are like me and enjoy some privacy, or if you've been in hotels too long and had enough, this place is ideal. At the same time, the location is just perfect. Can't get lost. I recommend for sure. Enjoy!

The apartment is quite spacious and perfectly located for discovering old city center. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed drinking coffee on the balcony...
I really liked that it was private no reception room in the way because we were constantly in and out during our stay. It was close to the blue mosque and most all the main attractions were short walk away.
Well it wasn't mentioned that there was a school right next to the apartment and we were staying on the ground floor so the kids could peer in and every half hour there would be school bell that would go off especially when you are trying to have a lye in. Life would have been much easier if there was gas cooking appliance rather than electric.

We stayed in the top floor apartment which had excellent views of the Blue Mosque and the Sea of Marmara. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and our host was very helpful. We would certainly return.

They offered an airport transfer which was reasonably priced and efficient. We were there in January and the heating was excellent. Could see the blue mosque from our room. People, who were working at Flamingo were extremely helpful relating to everything. The apartment has a lot of space (we booked for 3 persons,but get apartment for 6 persons). Location is perfect, since you can reach all important places in the town on foot within several minutes.
The staff was SO helpful! They helped us with groceries, set up a cruise on the Bosphorus, and arranged airport pickup. Every time we visited their store they had wonderful apple tea for us! The apartment was clean, very comfortable and just large enough for five. Cooking was possible, but the kitchen could use a few more items. Best of all was the location...in the heart of the old city!
We stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights. Everything was perfect from the day we arrived. Mr Gurkan, Mr Furat and Mr Hakan was really really helpful. The studio apartment was very comfortable, modern and complete with a cooker, washing machine, flat screen satellite tv and etc. The studio is just merely steps away from the Blue Mosque and in fact we can see the Blue Mosque from the sliding patio doors. Very highly recommended for any travellers coming to Istanbul. A very lovely experience for us as this is our first time in Turkey. We will come again next time from Malaysia and are looking forward to staying in this apartment in the future.
It was our first time to visit Istanbul and we found it amazing, Grkan and Harkan were so friendly and helful in all aspects we were so comfortable to deal with them and they were so extremly nice ..... We will never forget you guys and your nice shop as well
The location is just 4 minutes walk to the Blue Mosque. Gorkan was nice to call me before I landed to arrange hotel transfers and was very considerate to give us early checkin. They also helped us in loading luggage into our car at checkout
Just one bathroom for a six bed place. A place like this should have atleast two. There is no 24 hour staff for the apartment and the breakfast is not included in room rate making the place slightly more expensive. Room gets cleaned once in 4 days. Was being charged 25Euro for private hotel transfers from ataturk airport whereas best price was 18Euros
