  Me, my hubby and 2 year old son had a fantastic stay @ the Coastlands on the ridge hotel. The hotel and rooms (big wow) are elegant and beautifully decorated (we had deluxe room) plus the view from the balcony looking out over durban is stunning. The staff were absolutely wonderful with my son, friendly and always helpfull especially @ reception (... was die leute sagen » tony cele god bless you) and the dining area (the lady @ the entrance to the hotels dining area always warm, friendly and welcoming). We were treated - Excellent young staff at all points.They seem to want to help rather than just provide service. The arrival & departure was warm. Even the security person in the car park wanted to do something to please.The young people in the reception and dining room were excellent.

  Thanks for the friendliness of the staff. I appreciate the assistance of Anna who get up so early to prepare our breakfast and make sure we had something to eat before we left for the Eastern Cape. - The location is good. The staff polite. The breakfast was good. The garden and parking area clean and well maintained.
