It was very quiet and relaxing comfortable bed beautiful gardens and outdoor area. You would never know you were so close to the airport. Food was well cooked and served nothing was too much trouble and we were welcome to stay until time for our late flight. The transport from/to the airport was so hassle free. Would recommend this lodge very high

The location was great for an overnight between flights out of the Joburg airport. The location is surprisingly rural, lots of open space around the hotel, and yet only a 10 minute ride to the airport. The gardens and landscaping of the hotel are beautiful and attract many native birds, great for the avid birdwatcher. The food was excellent.

Efficient, easy check in and out. They held buffet open late because a SAA flight that came in late stranding passengers sent them here for a 10:15 pm arrival which was when I got there. Good internet access. Staff was friendly and nice. Easy, efficient service to and from airport. -

We were en route to Singapore and stopped over at the Aviator Hotel for the night. I was very impressed by the excellent Service provided and the extra mile staff went to when they transported my husband, my sick 3 year old and myself to hospital at 3am so my son could be nebulised. I was extremely grateful. we stopped over at the aviator on our return trip for a few hours so our family could freshen up and rest before our flight to Durban. I will definitely be using the Aviator hotel again.

The Mondior is in a super location within easy reach of Johannesburg International Airport. A courtesy bus runs to the airport every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day. I stayed at Mondior for 1 night before my flight on the next day with my husband and 5 month old daughter. The hotel is right next to the airport and there is a shuttle every 20 min. to the terminal which is very convenient. As the room we booked was very small to fit a baby cot they upgraded us with bigger one which was very very nice of them. I was very impressed by the baby cot they gave us. It was the perfect place to stay for us just arriving back from an
overseas holiday and need to sleep over before we are driving back to
Port Elizabeth. It is very close to or Thambo and security is also good

We prefer Safari Club SA Kempton Park over a Hotel on arrival and dept for an overnight stay on our way to the north. Close to the airport, relaxing environment, friendly staff, and affordable. But for a longer stay the location is not so attractive. -
