The best thing was that it was so close to the main square. Can't get any closer if you don't actually live on the square. I stayed at the top flat on the right - 4 up I think it was. My room was great. With a slanting roof, big beems and really well done up. Small kitchen area and bathroom. Being a female staying on my own it was actually very okay that I had to open 3 locks to get to my room. Makes you feel quite safe - not that I have heard that it would be a problem in Krakow. We had an amazing room. It was as if it might have been an artist's garret apartment. Lots of light, spacious. Small kitchen area. Staff warm and helpful. There is also a restaurant in the basement that has Michelin recognition with cost much less than it would at home. Location was also excellent.
