  The privacy, cleanliness, Scenery was lovely and central to everything. Loads of parking so we left the car there and walked around. The man at reception was very pleasent and friendly. - The proximity to the shore/shops/ferry/Waitangi museum/eateries etc. but far enough away from main traffic noise.

  Clean and tidy and they had anticipated our needs by providing extra items such as tissues, cotton wool, shower gel, milk tea and coffee, and hair dryer.   We found the Ash Grove cabin we had to be the best accommodation we had on our visit to the Northern part of the North Island. Everything was absolutely perfect, which we failed to get at many other of the locations we visited. Our cottage was right next door to hosts house yet it was private, clean and had every thing we needed to make our stay comfortable. Great place for our break away weekend.   The owners were very helpful in all respects, when I advised them that we would not be arriving till early Saturday morning this was not a problem as we were coming from the King Country. They were very helpful with any question that we had & very easy to approach.   Wonderful greeting by owners upon arrival,very clean and tidy, just a nice atmosphere.well done and wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to others and stay there again if up in Paihia. - have stayed there a few times and the staff are lovely and the rooms are always so clean and love what you do with the towels

  Nice Motel, friendly staff, a huge room with spa bath. The manager was extremely friendly, courteous and most helpful. The location of this Motel is great. Within easy walking distance to shops, rsa Club with the best meals and cheap as there! We enjoying staying here for 2 nights and the facilities were above our expectations. Top class - 10 out of 10 Dolphin Mote - loved the roominess of the apartment - ideal when travelling with a toddler who likes to run around. Also loved the separate bedrooms and full kitchen. Really loved being greeted with a free beer or softdrink, and free wifi. Also the added mile Paul went to pay our toll for us - saved us having to stop if the baby was asleep. Thank you Paul. Great location within easy walk to everything, and great recommendation about meals at the RSA.

  Comfortable room with plenty of facilities/space. Staff were friendly, helpful and gave us lots of information. Aloha is in a good situation for the bay of islands, Russell, Waitangi etc. You can get a tour to 90 mile beach from Paihia, although we drove and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Good restaurants in town - about a ten minute walk. Overall ... was die leute sagen » a very enjoyable stay. - we stayed here for the night as a gift for our wedding nite and loved the flowers that were left in our room from the lovely gardens from the staff at the motel, a lovely touch, thank you. Wine & chocolates were left for the room by my parents which the staff put into our room before our arrival, big thanks for doing that. Great facilities and a relaxing stay

  On arrival it was raining so we were sitting in the car waiting for it to pass over. They came out with umbrellas so we didn't get wet. They were very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. I am fussy about cleanliness but the place was spotless. We had an ocean view apartment and it was fabulous. Very clean and tidy, good facilities, welcoming host. All good. Its near the treaty grounds in one direction and the shops/cafes in the other. But mostly I just love that they found my tablet charger before I even knew I had lost it, and posted it on really quickly.

  We liked everything about Bay Sands - the Manager was the most helpful, informative,friendly person we came across in our whole NZ holiday... Our room had a beach view, was spotlessly clean and well fitted out with kitchenette etc - v - Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival. Room was clean and comfortable and facilities were very good. We had a ground floor sea view, which wasn't strictly a sea view as most of the time, cars were parked directly across from the room as there was parking for the beach. The beach was literally across the street, though so it was still a good spot. Restaurants, the wharf and the centre is a 15 minute walk from the accommodation, so pretty good location.

  Good Location if you have a car, a bit far to walk to the town centre but was fantastic having a pool and trampoline for our son to play on and the spa was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful, we would love to stay again but we would stay on the bottom floor as you have easy access to the pool and the car park.   The motel was in walking distance to the little town and to the docks. The main reason for being in Paihia was to scuba dive. The motel was an excellent location in walking distance to Paihia Dive. It was clean, the staff was wonderfully friendly, very very nice.
