  We stayed at this hotek for two nights. And it was easy to walk there with our backpacks from Kyoto station. I google it then got the map from tourist information at the station and the staff just recomfirmed us how to get there. Only 15 min walk. Staff are very friendly and also allow us to leave our luggage there after check out. But didnt b - My sister and I stay for 8 nights and we loved the place. The staff is extremely helpful and nice (even if they have problems communicating in English), the fact that there is a common place with fridge and that you get tea and water for free and even croissants for breakfast, the cleanliness the rooms and how central the location is. We highly recommend this place for people who want to explore Kyoto and surroundings for a few days.

I think he waited for our coming after I confirmed arrival time because while we were walking to find Ryokan and almost getting lost, he called us from in front of Ryokan. I was so impressed. I got a big clean room with garden view and not close to the street so it was quite and peaceful. This room is what I think when stay in ryokan. Love it.

The bathrooms and toilets were really clean and they were always accessible despite being common to all guests.   The people who ran the place were so nice and helpful. They advised me where I should go, what I should do and even gave me a free ride back to the station at the end of my trip.
