  - The location is great. The bus stop is 5 mins away and the bus 60 gets you to Plaza Venezia, few mins away from Colosseum. The public transport in Rome is excellent, its pure easy to find your way around the city. There's also a supermarket nearby. - The breakfast is good, you can eat as much as you want. Theres croisants, cereals, fruits, tosts... was die leute sagen » , eggs etc. - Staff are nice and helpful, ready to give you directions etc. - Great value for money. We stayed in a clean, fairly large room and also got breakfast included. The staff were also very friendly an helpful and allowed us to store our bags at the hostel the next day whilst we explored Rome. Also there are many great restaurants in the surrounding area and laundry mats, deli's etc.

From the moment we booked we received conformation emails from the owners, and then nearer the time, further emails to check if we required a taxi -- which we did and everything was booked and made simple for us. Nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The room was pretty classic, it won't blow your mind but lets be honest -- if you're - The staff at Locanda Colossea was excellent. They were extremely helpful, and it was great to actually have someone at the front desk during the day. Our room was very comfortable, and the staff even gave us a bottle of wine from the family vineyard (which was a very good wine!). The location was also very good, just minutes from the Colosseum and the Forum. The breakfast was served at a cafe two doors down, and there were several choices including eggs.   I loved everything about the hotel. The rooms were great and the bedswere sooo comfortable. We had been in Italy for a couple weeks and itwas the best place we stayed at!! - The staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful and the food was fantastic. We would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.
