  "At forty-one" is not a "classic" hotel but 6 luxurious apartments in the forth floor of a nice building just 100m from the metro and within walking distance from everything in Rome. Fantastic customer service; looked after from well before our arrival. Decoration is in accordance to what is published. Highly suggested..... - Can't recommend this place enough! Just a few minutes walking from both Repubblica metro station and Termini. The staff was very friendly and nice, room super-clean, spacious, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was nice but not great, it can be improved, although the freshly baked croissants and the roman-style focaccia were very yummy. In short, I loved my stay and next time in Rome I know where to go. ;-)

  Excellently placed. Just round the corner from the Central bus and metro stations. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and are more than willing to help with arranging trips, taxis etc. Should have remembered to have a mid day siesta, walking around a city is exhausting.   My girlfriend and I booked a room in Esedra mainly because of its good location, 10min walk from Termini, 15min from Trevi Fountain area and 2min from the nearest metro station. The room was pretty neat, really clean, the bathroom was one of the nicest we had in Italy, it had a massage shower, which was pretty cool. We spent our stay in Rome partying, so we enjoyed the 24h free coffee machine the next day a lo - The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. Being an easy walk from the train stations was also a big plus.

  Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und sehr gut (obwohl im Internet das Frühstück allgemein in Rom für sehr schlecht bewertet wurde). The owner is super kind, I spent over 20 days travel around Europe with heavy baggage, only this guy came out and help my wife to bring the luggage upstairs. He did the samething to offer his help to bring down all our luggag - Right from the moment of the initial, the team at Matisse couldnt have been more helpful and professional. Roberto, the owner, was charming. The relaxed atmosphere was welcome after a long day travelling. His restaurant recommendation was perfect. Although they were fully booked on our last pass thru Rome, the staff once again went above and beyond by helping us find alternate accommations in their neighbourhood.
